F.A.S.T.
F.A.S.T. is a harmonized commercial program between Canada Border Services Agency (C.B.S.A.), Citizenship and Immigration Canada (C.I.C.), and Customs and Border Protection (C.B.P.). This program is to allow pre-approved low risk importers, carriers, and drivers, to be cleared into either country with greater speed and certainty, and at a reduced cost of compliance.

NEXUS
NEXUS is a joint program that has been implemented with the co-operation of the Canadian and American Governments and is now being expanded nationally. As low-risk, pre-approved travellers, NEXUS participants will enjoy a simplified entry process into both Canada and the U.S.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security
On March 1, 2003, the enforcement and investigative arms of the Customs Service, the enforcement and investigative functions of the former Immigration and Naturalization Service, and the Federal Protective Service, came together to form the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement as part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
